Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver drainage designs, stormwater management plans, and hydraulic assessments for local council clients and major infrastructure projects.
  • •Provide specialised hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using tools such as Civil 3D, 12D, TUFLOW, DRAINS, URBS, RORB, XP-Rafts and WBNM.
  • •Develop practical and innovative solutions to complex drainage, flooding, and water quality challenges.
  • •Produce high-quality technical and non-technical report writing for client deliverables.
  • •Support project teams with technical guidance, mentoring, quality assurance, and client/regulator engagement.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven drainage and/or flood modelling experience (circa 5–15 years+).
  • •Experience planning hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater/drainage networks, or hydrologic modelling/assessments.
  • •Competence with software such as Civil 3D or 12d, and/or TUFLOW (or similar), plus URBS and/or XP-Rafts (or similar) and QGIS/ArcGIS.
  • •Strong technical capability across underground and surface water drainage systems.
  • •Technical leadership capability, design review and mentoring skills; strong communication and stakeholder engagement confidence.
