Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform month-end accounting activities including prepaid amortization, AR/AP adjustments, expense and tax accruals, and payroll accounting.
  • •Account for transactions in a multi-currency environment and manage the impact of currency translations.
  • •Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., fixed assets, AR/AP, payroll, intercompany, accrued income/expense, control & suspense, equity) and ensure sign-off on completeness/accuracy.
  • •Deliver overhead reporting during month-end close in Oracle, ensure reporting in Hyperion, and provide monthly commentary on actuals vs budget/forecast.
  • •Support budgeting and forecasting (overhead budgets, rolling forecasts, mid-year forecast) and act as a focal point for audits and compliance/statutory reporting queries.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified and preferably working toward CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent).
  • •Good understanding of IFRS and strong technical excellence in accounting/reporting.
  • •Experience in reporting or other key finance roles, including preparing annual and long-term budgets and forecasting.
  • •Experience with month-end accounting and reconciliations (e.g., balance sheet reconciliations, AR/AP, payroll, intercompany, control & suspense).
  • •Ability to manage complex close activities under pressure and communicate effectively with diverse, cross-cultural stakeholders.
