Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead control system design for synchronous machines, power management systems, energy management systems, and associated auxiliary control systems.
  • •Review electrical and control circuit designs and provide detailed markups and technical guidance to the drawing office team.
  • •Prepare and review hardware design specifications, functional design specifications, control narratives, and I/O documentation.
  • •Develop detailed test specifications and procedures for hardware, software, simulation, FAT, and SAT activities.
  • •Program PLCs and configure control systems using OEM software platforms; create IED configuration files and support wiring, setup, simulation, testing, integration, and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience designing industrial control systems, preferably for rotating equipment and electrical power or energy management applications.
  • •Experience programming PLC/DCS controllers and configuring HMIs, SCADA systems, and IEDs (Codesys experience is desirable).
  • •Ability to interpret and develop electrical schematics, control circuit diagrams, and single-line drawings.
  • •Capability to wire and set up hardware for simulation, testing, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
  • •Competency preparing functional design specifications, hardware design specifications, control narratives, and technical documentation.
