Key Responsibilities

  • •Recruit, train, and mentor scientists to build a results-driven, diverse, and inclusive team.
  • •Lead the adsorbents group and conceive/manage research programs for next-generation adsorbent offerings.
  • •Manage and allocate resources for pre-discovery NPI projects in support of R&D AOP.
  • •Build adsorbents fundamentals knowledge (equilibrium and kinetics) and work with NPI leaders to support active projects.
  • •Contribute to competitive landscape analysis, IP portfolio strategy, and R&D strategic planning/roadmaps.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD (or foreign equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry, with 2 years of experience; or a Master’s with 5 years; or a Bachelor’s with 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
  • •Two (2) years providing technical leadership and direction based on recognized subject matter expertise.
  • •Two (2) years characterizing complex materials at the molecular and functional level to support new technology development.
  • •Two (2) years applying advanced analytical techniques, including high resolution mass spectrometry, for problem solving and data interpretation.
  • •Leverage scientific innovation to drive company commercial growth (experience must include this).
