•Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks/negotiable instruments.
•Verify endorsements/negotiability, process account transfers, and handle cashier’s checks, savings bonds, money orders, and traveler’s/official checks.
•Verify and balance cash daily; detect and resolve discrepancies; maintain balancing records.
•Operate the online teller terminal, maintain privacy of customer information, and ensure customer requests/inquiries are promptly resolved.
•Cross-sell bank products and services; follow teller procedures and compliance requirements; complete reports/records; assist with training and perform assigned duties like night drop and clerical tasks.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or equivalent.
•At least one year of related experience/cash handling; previous Teller experience preferred.
•Understanding of bank operations preferred.
•Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment (e.g., adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, telephone).
•Good communication skills, professional appearance, math skills, and typing skills.
