Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform EMI/EMC compliance and pre-compliance testing and validate products against applicable standards, preparing test setups and generating test reports.
  • •Set up, operate, and maintain EMC test equipment (spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, signal generators, antennas, LISNs, RF amplifiers, oscilloscopes) and conduct emissions/immunity tests.
  • •Maintain lab equipment, manage and track test requests, implement and sustain 5S activities, and support lab safety initiatives.
  • •Conducted and radiated emissions and immunity testing by preparing test samples, cabling configurations, and test environments; assist in troubleshooting EMI/EMC failures.
  • •Support engineering and certification activities by maintaining calibration records, chamber maintenance/housekeeping, and assisting with test procedures and lab upgrade planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree with 1–2 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics/Mechatronics/Instrumentation Engineering with 3–5 years in EMI/EMC testing.
  • •2–4 years of hands-on EMI/EMC testing experience in semi-anechoic or fully anechoic chambers.
  • •Hands-on experience performing radiated and conducted emission/immunity tests (including ESD, surge, BCI, and EFT).
  • •Sound knowledge of EMC standards such as IEC, CISPR 25, ISO 11452, FCC, MIL-STD, and related standards (e.g., RTCA-DO, IEC 61000).
  • •Experience maintaining and operating EMI/EMC equipment and chamber components (e.g., EMI receiver, antennas, LISNs, chamber hardware) and maintaining calibration records.
