Key Responsibilities

  • •Establishing friendly, professional relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in projects and programmes.
  • •Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • •Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
  • •Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications.
  • •Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, cost control and value engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Numerate and computer literate, highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and contract administration software.
  • •Experience in both pre and post contract roles, including cost planning, procurement, contract formation, post contract cost control, contract administration, value management / engineering, risk management and final accounts.
  • •Chartered via RICS or SCSI.
  • •Experience on large civil engineering projects in rail, water or aviation sectors (or other large Civil Engineering infrastructure projects).
  • •Working knowledge of the NEC form of Contract.
