Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare calculation reports and design complex concrete and steel structures.
  • •Create quantities (metrados), material lists, and structural specifications.
  • •Lead and guide assigned designers for plan development; review and take responsibility for deliverables in coordination with the project lead.
  • •Plan structural work, recommend resource assignments, and commit to acceptance of projects, timelines, and required personnel to meet objectives.
  • •Control deliverable quality, coordinate structural discipline activities and interdisciplinary coordination, and review designs for less experienced engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in civil engineering with current professional registration (colegiatura vigente).
  • •10+ years of work experience in engineering companies for the mining industry, with increasing responsibilities.
  • •At least 6 years of experience in structural design for mining projects, including detailed engineering.
  • •Experience designing foundations for mechanical equipment and structures for heavy buildings, across conceptual, feasibility, basic, and detailed phases.
  • •Strong knowledge of national and international structural design standards; advanced use of SAP 2000 and intermediate AutoCAD, plus Office (Excel and Word).
