Key Responsibilities

  • •Practice safe job practices when repairing and maintaining equipment.
  • •Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer equipment using independent judgment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose root causes with real-time data.
  • •Maintain complete and timely daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders).
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; travel to customer job sites for repairs when required and maintain the service vehicle professionally.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive construction equipment knowledge with advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma (trade school certificate preferred) and experience in field service, maintenance, and repair (preferred).
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical requirements for the work.
  • •Strong fit for safety-sensitive work, including passing a 10-panel drug screen and following OSHA requirements (preferred).
