Job Summary

Own end-to-end supplier allocation planning and supply continuity to support large-scale solar project execution. Lead planning based on demand forecasts, capacity, pricing, and volume commitments; identify supply gaps early and drive mitigation/recovery plans. Improve supplier performance (including On-Time Shipment), standardize supplier management processes, and enhance visibility from purchase order through delivery. Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Regional Delivery, and Project Operations using MRP and advanced planning tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead supplier allocation planning based on demand forecasts, supplier capacity, pricing agreements, and contractual volume commitments.
•Secure supply commitments and balance supply availability with project priorities to protect revenue and customer commitments.
•Identify potential supply gaps early and develop/execute mitigation and recovery plans to protect project timelines.
•Drive supplier On-Time Shipment performance, run regular supplier performance reviews, and standardize supplier management processes.
•Leverage MRP and advanced planning tools to improve planning accuracy, end-to-end visibility, and inventory health.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in supply planning, master scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain leadership (or a Master’s with at least 3 years).
•Strong command of supply planning principles including forecasting, MRP logic, capacity planning, and supplier allocation strategies.
•Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle or similar) and advanced planning tools (Anaplan or equivalent), with strong Excel analytics (Power BI a plus).
•Demonstrated experience managing supplier performance in a global, fast-paced environment.
•APICS certification preferred and experience in solar, electronics, semiconductor, steel, automotive, heavy equipment, or comparable industries preferred.
