Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee input, peer review, verification of geotechnical data and analyses, and geotechnical design calculations.
  • •Provide consultative advice to external partners across the project lifecycle, including site selection/optioneering, design and construction.
  • •Manage or oversee geotechnical projects, including planning, developing schedules, coordination, and meeting programme and budget objectives.
  • •Provide leadership and support to deliver projects to clients and internal partners in line with time and quality expectations.
  • •Maintain industry presence by building relationships with past, current and prospective customers, and mentor/develop junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology/Geology (2:1 or equivalent) or higher.
  • •MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (advantageous).
  • •Chartered status.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practices.
  • •Demonstrable understanding of geotechnical design codes, standards and best practices.
