Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide end-to-end technical ownership of the enterprise agentic AI stack, including AWS Bedrock AgentCore (runtime, gateway, memory, identity, observability, evaluations) and related control plane/governance/security platforms.
  • •Design, develop, and maintain production AI agents and multi-agent orchestration patterns, including agent lifecycle management (versioning, evaluation, promotion, monitoring, retirement).
  • •Build secure integrations via MCP servers, tool integrations, and secure API gateways, embedding security/compliance/privacy controls into agent pipelines.
  • •Ensure production-grade reliability, observability/monitoring, define support models (runbooks, escalation paths, SLAs), and participate in on-call and incident response.
  • •Establish engineering standards and “everything as code,” implement FinOps (cost visibility, token/compute optimization, capacity planning, chargeback/showback), and hire/onboard/mentor a small team as headcount grows.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in software or platform engineering, shipping and operating production systems at scale.
  • •2+ years hands-on building LLM-based applications with an agentic system operating in production (ideally on Amazon Bedrock/Bedrock AgentCore).
  • •Deep proficiency in Python and Terraform, plus modern CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions preferred).
  • •Experience with agent evaluation and quality monitoring (offline eval sets, regression gates, online production monitoring).
  • •Track record securing LLM/agent systems (least-privilege identity, tool scoping, guardrails, and prompt-injection/tool-abuse mitigation) and leading/hiring small teams.
