Key Responsibilities

  • •Shuttle merchandise or raw materials between properties and deliver local backhauls as needed.
  • •Operate tractor/trailer trucks and straight body trucks to and from shipping/receiving dock areas and other required locations.
  • •Perform DOT and company required pre-trip safety inspections and maintain appropriate logs and records.
  • •Maintain daily trip reports and trailer yard inventory, and keep dock areas/exterior equipment maintained (including debris removal as needed).
  • •Inspect and secure drop trailer loads, affix trailer seals, correct discrepancies, and assist with product transfer when necessary.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • •Knowledgeable of Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
  • •Ability to operate material handling equipment (including forklifts).
  • •Preferred: 6 months of driving tractor trailers experience.
  • •Must have CDL Class A driver’s license, DOT Medical Card, and CDL Tank Vehicle Endorsement (if applicable).
