Job Summary

Support the contract lifecycle for Naval Air Missiles programs, including preparing and submitting proposals, administering contracts, and executing production and development closeout. Work with Department of Defense customers and cross-functional program teams in a matrix environment to understand and guide contractual requirements. Investigate and resolve contractual matters, advise on rights/obligations and risk mitigation, draft complex correspondence, and respond to quick-turn requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Support contract management and administration actions on proposals and contracts across the acquisition life cycle.
•Investigate and resolve contractual matters by gathering detailed information and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
•Work independently while escalating matters requiring leadership review and buy-in.
•Interface with customers regarding correspondence, contractual changes, and contractual issues.
•Draft complex letters and advise management on contractual rights/obligations and potential contractual/program risks.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
•Experience with one or more of the following: contracts administration, subcontracts, procurement, acquisitions, and/or finance.
•Experience with proposals and contract administration of U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract types.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills to partner with and influence stakeholders.
•Strong time management, organization, and sound judgment to prioritize work and resolve issues.
