Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply software engineering principles to the operations domain to ensure reliability for both internal and externally visible services.
  • •Design, build, and run large-scale distributed, fault-tolerant systems using software and systems engineering.
  • •Develop APIs using Red Hat technology products and manage Kafka-based data pipelines, including issue analysis and performance troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • •Provide 24x7x365 production support through an on-call rotation and practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
  • •Support scoping through engagement delivery, including presales and post-sales support for workshops, proofs of concept, pilots, and production deployments.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience with advanced middleware technologies and enterprise web/middleware development, including application integration projects.
  • •Knowledge and some experience with OpenShift by Red Hat; experience with other PaaS solutions is a plus.
  • •Hands-on experience using cloud as a development environment.
  • •Strong middleware/JEE experience, including designing and implementing JEE solutions; thorough experience with major middleware solutions (preferably Red Hat JBoss Middleware).
  • •Hands-on experience with Agile development and building pipelines and CI/CD; knowledge of DevOps and microservices.
