Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the end-to-end design, development, and commissioning of a vacuum hot-fire propulsion test facility for 100–800 N thrusters.
  • •Define system-level requirements, performance envelopes, safety objectives, and verification methods for the test bench.
  • •Translate propulsion test needs into facility, utilities, and ground support equipment requirements; specify instrumentation and data acquisition for safe testing.
  • •Oversee assembly, integration, and commissioning activities; manage suppliers and internal manufacturing, including verification.
  • •Lead hazard analyses (FMEA, HAZOP) and develop procedures for handling, testing, maintenance, and emergency response; ensure safe operations and handover when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in aerospace, propulsion, mechanical, chemical engineering, or related discipline.
  • •5+ years hands-on experience with propulsion test benches, preferably with storable/legacy propellants.
  • •Strong background in fluid systems, pressurized systems, and ground support equipment.
  • •Demonstrated experience delivering complex engineering facilities from concept to commissioning.
  • •Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
