Job Summary

Own the reliability and performance of SDN-driven cloud networking that powers AI and HPC workloads. Build automation and self-healing tooling, drive routing convergence and fault isolation, and partner with network, hardware, and kernel teams to optimize control planes and network stacks. Support user-facing networking with availability/latency improvements, investigate incidents using telemetry and flow logs, and help design scalable, fault-tolerant SDN backends for AI-first cloud environments.

•Build automation and self-healing tools to monitor and maintain SDN infrastructure.
•Drive reliability initiatives including routing convergence, traffic engineering, policy enforcement, and fault isolation.
•Implement and maintain high-performance virtualized networking services (e.g., overlays, service meshes, programmable data planes) for large-scale AI compute clusters.
•Investigate and resolve networking incidents using deep telemetry, flow logs, and packet-level analysis; improve availability, latency, and performance tuning.
•Partner with hardware and kernel teams and contribute to the architecture of fault-tolerant, scalable SDN backends for AI-first cloud environments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
•5+ years of professional experience in production engineering, systems, or networking engineering.
•Demonstrated experience automating network provisioning, configuration, and remediation (manual rack-and-stack alone is not sufficient).
•Hands-on experience with SDN platforms and protocols such as Open vSwitch, ONOS, Tungsten Fabric, Calico, Cilium, and EVPN/VXLAN.
•Proficiency in Python, Go, or C, plus experience with Infrastructure as Code/deployment tooling like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
