Job Summary

Site Engineer (Geo-Environmental) at a leading engineering firm supporting large-scale ground investigations across the UK. You’ll oversee groundwater monitoring and field activities, supervise site investigations, manage data collation, and ensure work adheres to safety and environmental standards while collaborating with a cross-functional Ground & Water team on regional projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete groundwater monitoring.
•Supervise site investigations.
•Supervise field work including soil logging and environmental sampling, chemical and geotechnical testing, groundwater sampling and ground gas monitoring.
•Data collation.
•Ensure all work is delivered in line with procedures and to the highest safety, health and environmental standards.

Key Requirements

•Full UK driving licence (essential) and comfortable working on-site.
•Ability to use initiative, be self-motivated, and communicate effectively (written and verbal).
•Knowledge of planning and supervision of site investigations; CDM Regulations and safe design/implementation of site investigations.
•Data handling experience; GIS experience is desirable.
•Willingness to travel to sites across the UK; relevant technical degree is desirable (not essential).
