Job Summary

Support cost management and project controls for energy projects by processing and reconciling supplier invoices, maintaining cost breakdown and forecast data, and administering purchase orders and work orders. Work closely with project, commercial, finance, and procurement teams to ensure costs are accurately recorded, discrepancies are resolved, accruals are produced for reporting cycles, and cost reports/expenditure analysis are delivered in line with contractual requirements (e.g., NEC/FIDIC).

Key Responsibilities

•Support the implementation and maintenance of cost control systems and processes to track budgets, commitments, actual costs, and forecasts.
•Process, validate, and reconcile supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with project and contractual requirements.
•Create and maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) aligned to project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
•Set up and manage purchase orders, work orders, and requisitions to ensure accurate cost capture and reporting.
•Maintain cost records, support month-end reporting and accruals, and produce cost reports/expenditure analysis; help resolve cost, invoice, or payment discrepancies.

Key Requirements

•Interest in building a career in cost engineering, project controls, or project finance with experience or exposure to invoice processing, financial administration, cost control, or project support.
•Strong numerical/analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and comfort working with financial data in a project environment.
•Experience or knowledge of invoice processing, accounts payable, cost administration, or financial controls.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; effective written and verbal communication for stakeholder and supplier coordination.
