Job Summary

Join Baird’s Equity Capital Markets research team in Milwaukee and help deliver timely, objective coverage for 725+ stocks. Partner with a Senior Analyst within a focused industry group to support quantitative research, build financial models, and produce written proprietary reports. Collect and analyze industry data, communicate findings to Sales & Trading and institutional clients, attend company conferences, and help develop relationships with senior management at covered companies.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner closely with a Senior Analyst to support an industry team covering 15+ stocks across small-, mid-, and large-cap companies.
•Provide quantitative support for industry- and company-specific research, including preparation of financial models and written reports.
•Collect industry data and develop expertise to help clients decide where to invest.
•Develop proprietary research, write reports, and communicate and distribute findings to clients.
•Attend and participate in company-sponsored conferences and discuss research findings with Sales & Trading and institutional clients.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required, with a Finance/Accounting degree strongly preferred.
•Proven academic record (GPA 3.5/4.0 or greater preferred).
•0-3 years of experience with a passion for the industry.
•Ability to work both in a team and on a self-directed basis.
•Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
