Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a variety of duties in iron/non-ferrous foundry areas and support grinding-room operations using standard procedures or instructions.
  • •Grind large and small castings and assist with mold processes (dumping/shakeout molds, hook off/shovel castings, pouring molds).
  • •Operate equipment including band saws, shot blast cleaning equipment, automatic floor sweeper, and fork trucks/payloader/power vac as required.
  • •Assist with machine set-up, repair pouring ladles, and perform minor maintenance (tightening/replacing parts).
  • •Detect and report defective materials and maintain clean, orderly work areas while referring unusual situations to supervision.
