Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and assist in the delivery of major development applications, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across various project types and liaising with local planning authorities and stakeholders.
  • •Provide planning advice on consent requirements and permitted development rights; produce feasibility reports and consent strategies; write Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements.
  • •Contribute to business development in specific market sectors; identify opportunities and build client relationships; lead and contribute to preparation of commercial tenders.
  • •Work closely with the Environmental Impact Assessment team and participate in meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • •Oversee project management, ensuring quality and adherence to health and safety principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Town Planning or related discipline; RTPI membership or equivalent
  • •Significant experience leading planning consent applications for large infrastructure projects across multiple regimes; expert witness experience is a plus
  • •Strong client focus with collaborative approach and existing relationships with clients and local authorities; ability to develop new business
  • •Excellent written communication; ability to write clearly and concisely and work under pressure
  • •High commitment to quality and ability to work autonomously within a team
