Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess transactions and create deal strategies by understanding business needs, evaluating risks, and designing execution plans.
  • •Draft and/or redline contracts to ensure Capital One is protected from risk using contracting best practices.
  • •Negotiate effectively with suppliers to meet contracting standards and business objectives, planning and executing negotiation strategies in a timely, flexible way.
  • •Proactively manage transactions and drive contracts to completion as the central point of contact, aligning to ESM and business timelines.
  • •Communicate and collaborate with associates and stakeholders (including legal, compliance, and data security) to identify material risks and coordinate contractual guidance.

Salary: USD 131,300 - 149,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
  • •At least 2 years of experience in contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, execution, or legal experience.
  • •3+ years of experience drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing procurement contracts.
  • •3+ years of experience creating and executing contracting and negotiation strategies.
  • •Juris Doctorate (preferred).
