Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance, including annual outage and overhauling work, safely and on schedule.
  • •Comply with NOMAC safety rules and follow maintenance procedures/work instructions; document maintenance concerns/history.
  • •Coordinate with Mechanical Supervisor for spare parts/consumables and update spares availability.
  • •Perform isolations and maintenance preparation in coordination with the Mechanical Supervisor and local operator.
  • •Troubleshoot, diagnose, install/inspect/service/repair static and rotating mechanical equipment; maintain tools/lifting equipment care and perform 5S housekeeping.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or 4+ years as Skilled Mechanical Labor in NOMAC plants).
  • •Minimum 4 years in the same position.
  • •Extensive experience as a Mechanical Technician in conventional, combined cycle, cogeneration, water desalination (RO/MSF/MED), and/or renewable (solar/wind) plants.
  • •Generic awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment Management System principles.
  • •Ability to work independently and in a team, including in confined spaces, at heights, and around chemicals, while enforcing safe work practices (incl. LOTO, PPE, fall protection).
