Lead planning, design, integration, and delivery of complex rail and transit systems. Co-locate with Puget Sound teams (Seattle/Tacoma/Redmond) to drive technical excellence, system integration, and performance across multi-discipline rail projects in the Seattle region.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead systems engineering activities including requirements development, traceability, system architecture, and interface management.
•Coordinate integration planning, testing, verification, and validation across project phases.
•Support technical reviews and ensure alignment of system integration with project milestones and delivery stage gates.
•Collaborate with SMEs across engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated technical support for client programs.
•Provide leadership, mentorship, and project management across transit rail system design and delivery.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 323,400 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering (or equivalent experience).
•15+ years of relevant post-education rail systems/transit/related infrastructure experience.
•Experience as Rail Systems Lead or similar role on transportation/transit rail projects with advanced understanding of project delivery in A/E/C.
•Advanced proficiency with engineering principles, design/build on major infrastructure projects, and regulatory/standards compliance.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead, multi-task, and mentor junior staff; QA/QC adherence.
