Job Summary

Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a fintech focused on point-of-sale financing. Own budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial modeling, and deliver insights on revenue, costs, margins, and investment opportunities (M&A and capital investments). Prepare board/investor reporting and regulatory filings, improve reporting processes and compliance, and mentor junior financial analysts to ensure accurate, timely analyses.

•Develop and implement annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and financial models supporting strategic initiatives.
•Analyze complex financial data (revenue trends, cost drivers, margin analysis) and provide actionable executive insights.
•Oversee preparation of board-level reports, investor presentations, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals.
•Evaluate financial performance and ROI/risk for mergers, acquisitions, and capital investment opportunities to support investment decisions.
•Mentor, review, and guide junior financial analysts and support staff to ensure accuracy and professional development.

Key Requirements

•5–7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance, preferably in a consumer business or startup environment.
•Advanced understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and corporate finance principles.
•Strong proficiency with financial analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
•Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; master’s degree or professional certifications like CFA or CPA preferred.
•Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and collaborate cross-functionally.
