Senior Software Security Engineer

Engineer security improvements for GitLab’s product and Trust & Safety systems that detect and prevent abuse across SaaS. Build and maintain core abuse prevention tooling, including anomaly detection rules, an in-house Ruby on Rails abuse platform, and agentic AI capabilities to reduce HITL operational load. Collaborate with peer engineering teams to deliver product safety improvements, close automation gaps, and maintain runbooks and procedures for incident handling.
