Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for packaging development, helping define technical problems with food safety, regulatory compliance, and operational feasibility.
  • •Plan and run packaging tests (barrier, strength, compression, sealing, permeability), including pilot and industrial trials.
  • •Support shelf-life studies and packaging-to-food-to-process compatibility assessments, including technical reporting and validation documentation.
  • •Participate in cost reduction and value analysis (VA/VE), evaluating material and supplier alternatives using total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • •Collaborate across Product, Quality, Production, Process Engineering, Regulatory, Procurement, Logistics, and Marketing to ensure alignment through the packaging lifecycle and industrial implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Food Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • •Experience in packaging development, Research & Development (P&D) or Quality.
  • •Knowledge of physical and dimensional testing of packaging materials.
  • •Basic knowledge of food legislation and labeling.
  • •Knowledge of SAP, Agile methodologies, and Microsoft Office (Pacote Office).
