Job Summary

Join the Legal Team supporting two practice areas: Portfolio Management and Capital Development & Investor Relations. Draft, negotiate, and interpret investment management and employment agreements, handle onboarding/offboarding, and manage fund formation work including side letters, placement agent agreements, and investor communications. Support strategic transactions and regulatory matters while partnering with leadership and business stakeholders and coordinating with outside counsel.

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, negotiate, and interpret contracts with portfolio managers, including investment management and employment agreements, and handle onboarding/offboarding matters.
•Support fund formation and capital development, including launching investor-facing products, updating fund documents, preparing and reviewing side letters, and maintaining side letter logs.
•Negotiate placement agent agreements and assist with investor queries and communications.
•Help spearhead strategic transactions, private equity transactions, loan documents, and regulatory matters.
•Partner with stakeholders across departments and work with outside counsel and advisers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

•J.D. from an accredited law school and admittance to a state bar.
•At least 4-6 years of experience in the investment management/funds practice area.
•Superior legal analytical and drafting skills.
•Superior organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to prioritize competing workstreams and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
