Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate client onboarding for Financial Advisors, including managing the prospect pipeline, preparing new account paperwork, and establishing an ongoing service plan.
  • •Answer and route incoming phone calls, advise advisors on actions taken, and schedule client appointments as needed.
  • •Maintain client relationships in the CRM and use the platform for mailings, reporting, and e-mail tracking to implement service models.
  • •Assemble/generate materials and reports for client meetings, and support seminars and client events (lists, content, PowerPoint coordination, and follow-through).
  • •Initiate and complete transactions and handle security orders (e.g., stocks, bonds, fixed income, options, annuities) per advisor or client direction while ensuring regulatory adherence.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 7 plus Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65, or be willing to study and obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • •Understand compliance regulations and correspondence policies; maintain client confidentiality.
