Job Summary

Safely operate a ready-mix concrete mixer truck to manufacture, deliver, and unload concrete for customers. Follow dispatcher/plant manager instructions and deliver to job sites, including complex unloading locations. Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and perform tasks like ladder climbing, handling mixer chutes, and adding admixtures as needed. Record transactions, check delivery tickets for instructions, and use GPS/tablet/computer tools to support deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate a ready-mix concrete mixer truck to deliver and unload concrete to customer specifications.
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher or plant manager and follow delivery tickets with special instructions.
•Ensure proper loading by climbing ladders, handling mixer chutes safely, and adding admixtures to the drum when necessary.
•Maintain truck and drum cleanliness, including rinsing drum before and after deliveries.
•Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair issues.

Key Requirements

•Minimum valid Class B CDL required.
•Ability to safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck and deliver to construction sites per dispatch instructions.
•Ability to read and interpret safety and operating/maintenance documents, and communicate with customers and staff.
•At least 1 year of related experience or training (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
•Ability to perform physical demands such as frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and handling ladder climbing safely.
