Key Responsibilities

  • •Work hands-on with technicians and engineers to build and manufacture composite parts and tooling for UAV platforms.
  • •Collaborate with design engineering to influence manufacturability decisions before design release.
  • •Create and execute manufacturing documentation including work instructions, MBOMs, quality plans, inspection requirements, and non-conformances.
  • •Serve as a conduit between engineering technical data packages and technicians to ensure manufactured hardware matches analyzed/design intent.
  • •Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to lower risk from prototype/LRIP to FRP, solve schedule-driven manufacturing problems, and drive RCCAs with quality to eliminate recurring production blockers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technology related field.
  • •2+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably with composite manufacturing methods.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T.
  • •Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (NX preferred).
  • •Ability to be onsite, local to Morrisville, NC and be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
