Job Summary

Senior DCS Engineer (Hardware) to support hardware engineering activities for Emerson’s Ovation platform in power plant applications. Responsibilities include panel design, network architecture understanding, and buyout integration from competitor DCS/PLC, with lifecycle involvement from sales handover to closure. You’ll participate in Design Reviews, FAT/SAT, BOM reconciliation, site walks, and provide clear communications to stakeholders, with travel as needed.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Support execution of projects across key KPIs: Cost, Schedule, Quality, Risk, and Stakeholder coordination.
•Assist in managing the DCS project lifecycle including Sales Handover, KOM, Engineering, Procurement, Staging, FAT, Shipment, SAT, Handover, and Closure.
•Provide active support during Project Bidding/Proposal stages to ensure an optimized budget mainly from Hardware aspects.
•Review and support Hardware Engineering activities including panel design, network architecture understanding, and buyout integration.
•Hands-on exposure to buyouts such as HMI, servers, control desks/furniture, cables, UPS, chargers, LVS, field instruments, relays, barriers, etc
