Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and develop the Oyu Tolgoi Compliance team, establishing accountability and a high-performing culture aligned with integrity risks.
  • •Implement and continuously improve the Business Integrity Compliance Program, monitoring effectiveness of processes, systems, and controls.
  • •Advise senior leaders independently on bribery, corruption, fraud, and other business integrity risks, with constructive challenge.
  • •Oversee key program elements including third-party due diligence, conflicts of interest, benefits/sponsorships/donations, declarations, and risk mitigation actions.
  • •Coordinate risk-based monitoring and control verification, drive remediation, and prepare reporting and recommendations for senior governance forums and committees.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Legal, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline; postgraduate qualification or professional Ethics & Compliance qualification is highly regarded.
  • •Substantial experience implementing, operating, and continuously improving an ethics, compliance, or business integrity program in a complex organisation.
  • •Proven leadership of professional teams, including coaching, capability development, performance management, and building effective, accountable teams.
  • •Strong experience identifying and mitigating bribery, corruption, fraud, and integrity risks, including third-party due diligence, conflicts of interest, and monitoring/remediation controls.
  • •Experience contributing to significant investigations and translating findings and root causes into sustainable control and program improvements.
