Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver drafting and design on large multidisciplinary civil engineering projects for defence water infrastructure.
  • •Lead cooperation and collaboration across multidisciplinary team members, liaising with engineers and drafters locally and internationally to meet design delivery timelines.
  • •Apply technical and industry knowledge to produce high-quality, standards-driven design outputs.
  • •Work on projects improving defence capabilities by designing resilient utilities and environmental systems that support defence bases and facilities.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • •Demonstrable capability in AutoCAD and either 12D or Civil 3D.
  • •Proven experience leading and delivering design and drafting for large civil infrastructure/water projects, ideally with some defence exposure.
  • •Experience leading design and drafting across utilities coordination, drainage, earthworks, and roads design.
  • •Australian citizenship is required for defence clearance; an Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma in Engineering Design is preferred.
