Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment, including repairs, improvements, mold changes, and preventative maintenance.
  • •Ensure proper and safe operational conditions for production and related equipment, including cleanliness of equipment and areas after repairs/PMs.
  • •Analyze and resolve equipment issues; recommend, plan, repair, modify, and fabricate necessary components.
  • •Support and update the equipment PM program, assist with stock of spare parts, and keep tools and the maintenance areas organized and in safe condition.
  • •Assist and train production employees on machine conversions and PMs; perform shift maintenance checks (including systems room, Pressco checks, shop housekeeping, and Video jet daily PMs).

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree or equivalent experience (or five years related experience/training).
  • •Provincial/industrial mechanic certification.
  • •Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • •Basic knowledge in electricity and control, with the ability to read and interpret technical procedures.
  • •Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (including standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally).
