Job Summary

Provide strategic health, safety, and environment (HSE) advice across oil & gas and petrochemicals projects, supporting project and contract managers in rolling out group HSE objectives. Lead or support incident and accident investigations, mentor new HSE team members, and develop or review HSE plans, risk assessments, and Process Safety Management (PSM) programs. Monitor leading and lagging HSE indicators, conduct management support visits, and deliver HSE inductions and materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic advice and guidance to managers on all HSE matters and roll out group HSE annual objectives and initiatives.
•Support business unit/contract/project managers and HSE advisors in developing and delivering group HSE objectives and initiatives.
•Support senior managers in incident and accident investigations using an appropriate investigation process (e.g., Helix or Taproot).
•Monitor best-practice and develop leading-edge HSE initiatives, including supporting timely reporting of leading and lagging HSE indicators.
•Conduct management support visits, lead HSE inductions for new starts, and develop HSE presentational material to support inductions and group initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline.
•Lead/Senior HSE advisor experience with project/contract experience in oil & gas (O&G) or related industries.
•Proven HSE experience on large-scale projects, including developing and preparing HSE plans for greenfield (grassroots) projects.
•Must hold internationally recognized safety certification such as CSP and/or Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) or an equivalent certification.
