Key Responsibilities

  • •Construct, refurbish, and repair mold components using CNC and manual machines.
  • •Operate assigned CNC or manual machine(s) and record dimensions using precision measuring tools.
  • •Maintain safety and security diligence, including responding to emergencies and reporting non-conformities.
  • •Support quality investigation and (at higher levels) CMM operation and assembly or related focus areas.
  • •Maintain cleanliness of the shop and assist superiors with day-to-day work flow and scheduling operations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school education or GED equivalent.
  • •Ability to accurately read blueprints.
  • •Ability to safely operate a forklift (high traffic, low clearance) and occasionally climb on/off a forklift.
  • •Physical ability to push/pull loads of approximately 75 lbs at least 10 times per day/shift and stand/walk for 7.5 hours of an 8-hour shift.
  • •Journeyman certification and relevant experience across areas such as grinding, milling, lathe, welding, polishing, EDM, turning, quality, or assembly; for higher levels, experience programming using Mastercam, CNC, and/or Mazatrol and understanding injection/blow molding processes.
