Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and train employees, leading by example and administering corrective and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • •Provide and enforce safety training; read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and ensure PPE compliance.
  • •Schedule feed mill activities for feed manufacturing and shipments, including production sequencing and clean-out procedures.
  • •Oversee and manage inventories; manage daily reporting and review daily production reports.
  • •Perform housekeeping audits and complete daily feed mill checklist tasks while ensuring FSMA and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum 2 years’ progressive feed manufacturing experience.
  • •Provide supervision including training, direction, corrective/disciplinary actions, and communication for hourly employees.
  • •Ability to operate loaders, conveyors, tractors, track mobiles, and/or drive a forklift.
  • •Practical computer skills with solid knowledge of MS Office programs; knowledge of food and feed regulatory requirements.
