Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and post recurring and ad-hoc journal entries for store operations, with proper supporting documentation.
  • •Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for inventory, prepaid expenses, accruals, advertising funds, and other store accounts; resolve aged items.
  • •Monitor and analyze key operational and financial KPIs (sales, food cost, labour cost, EBITDA, store profitability) and recommend actions to improve performance.
  • •Support accounting for fixed assets, capital expenditures, depreciation, asset disposals, and assist with lease accounting and compliance.
  • •Conduct cash and AR reconciliation and support accounting for new store openings, remodel projects, relocations, and closures, including pre-opening and closure costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or CA qualified.
  • •4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or cost management (preferably in restaurant, retail, or FMCG industries).
  • •Strong knowledge of cost analysis, P&L reporting, and financial reconciliation.
  • •Experience working with ERP systems, specifically J D Edwards, and financial reporting tools.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modelling).
