Job Summary

Lead end-to-end software development for Boeing’s Space Mission Systems team on the ESS/Evolved Strategic SATCOM program. Manage staffing and grow engineering capabilities, oversee software architecture/design and testing to hit program milestones, and provide CAM assist with variances, risks, and recovery plans. Collaborate with stakeholders and partners while solving complex problems across multiple priorities, and support new business activities. Role is 100% onsite in El Segundo or Seal Beach, CA.

•Manage staffing needs and grow the skills/capabilities of the organization, setting goals and performing annual performance reviews.
•Perform Cost Account Management (CAM) assist duties including status, variances analysis, risk identification, and recovery plans.
•Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in software engineering.
•Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners, providing oversight of technical approaches, products, and processes.
•Support new business activities and solve complex problems while managing software development projects and milestones.

•Active US Top Secret clearance.
•3+ years of experience with software development projects.

•Experience with software engineering principles including Software Configuration Management, Software Architecture and Design, and Software Life Cycle Management.
