Key Responsibilities

  • •Increase revenue and develop the market through direct sales to MFMs, OB/GYNs, and genetic counselors.
  • •Prospect effectively and cultivate and maintain key relationships.
  • •Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly within the assigned geography.
  • •Support currently marketed products and new product launches with clinical expertise, education, and hands-on training.
  • •Handle PHI regularly in paper and electronic form and complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, compliance, and security training within the first 30 days; maintain current training status.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Science, Nursing, or a related healthcare discipline.
  • •Minimum of three years of physician sales experience in the diagnostic laboratory industry, ideally within genetics.
  • •Strong background in medical or biological sciences, with experience in clinical diagnostics.
  • •Deep understanding of the OB/GYN and MFM markets with proven success selling into these specialties.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com.
