Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer the JRC corporate virtual server infrastructure.
  • •Administer the NetApp storage infrastructure.
  • •Administer the campus network infrastructure.
  • •Administer Windows-based server platforms.
  • •Administer other server platforms and coordinate team members for the service contract, acting as primary interface with the JRC IT Service Manager.

Key Requirements

  • •Very good experience administering server virtualisation platforms, particularly VMware vSphere Enterprise.
  • •Very good knowledge of switching technologies, particularly Cisco, including Layer 2 network design.
  • •Very good knowledge of routing technologies, including dynamic routing protocols and Layer 3 network design.
  • •Experience configuring CIFS and NFS storage protocols and administering NetApp NAS storage infrastructure.
  • •Experience administering Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2012 or later).
