Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake project management for mid- to large-size renewable energy projects, focused on the construction phase.
  • •Liaise with clients and manage day-to-day delivery to ensure agreed requirements, timescales, and budgets are met, including managing underperformance.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary design and construction of renewable energy infrastructure.
  • •Support procurement activities, including preparation of Employer’s Requirements and technical contractual documentation.
  • •Manage construction-phase delivery under NEC/FIDIC/JCT/bespoke contracts, conduct quality control reviews, support budgets/program performance, and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng (Hons) in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Environmental) or a diploma in Project Management.
  • •Background in project and construction delivery in the energy sector, including construction-phase complexities of grid-connected projects.
  • •Experience leading projects across design, procurement, and construction phases for one or more technologies such as onshore wind, solar PV, or hydroelectric (run of river and pumped storage).
  • •Commercial awareness and ability to manage day-to-day project delivery against requirements, timescales, and budgets.
  • •Experience managing NEC/FIDIC/JCT or bespoke contractual documentation and resolving underperformance and project issues with clients.
