Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage all activities in the food chemistry testing laboratory, including annual planning and execution supervision.
  • •Deal with GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC, and IC analysis of food, pesticides, and food packaging.
  • •Establish new chemical analysis capabilities for food and beverages and oversee verification and interpretation of results.
  • •Prepare yearly laboratory budget requirements and manage resources, reporting, monitoring, and laboratory personnel.
  • •Maintain calibration and proficiency testing programs and establish quality management systems to comply with ISO 17025 accreditation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Microbiology.
  • •5–7 years of experience in chemical/food analysis laboratory work.
  • •Experience with GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC, and IC analysis of food, pesticides, and packaging.
  • •Ability to supervise chemical analysis activities, verify results, and interpret findings.
  • •Knowledge of ISO 17025 quality management systems and related testing requirements.
