Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the Head of Fund Accounting to define and execute Luxembourg Fund Accounting strategic objectives, including workforce planning and operating model development.
  • •Lead fund accounting support for semi-liquid and alternative investment structures (e.g., Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Hybrid structures) and support product/structure onboarding initiatives.
  • •Drive transformation and continuous improvement across the Fund Accounting function, partnering with Technology and Change on automation, workflow optimization, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • •Oversee operational activities including NAV production, valuation governance, pricing controls, financial reporting, and resolution of complex accounting and client servicing issues.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop managers and Fund Accounting professionals across Luxembourg and offshore teams while sponsoring succession planning and governance.
  • •Provide risk, governance, and regulatory oversight, including compliance with regulatory requirements and support for audits, examinations, and remediation of findings.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of progressive experience in Fund Accounting, Alternative Investments, Asset Servicing, or Investment Operations.
  • •Extensive experience servicing Luxembourg-domiciled investment structures, including UCITS and AIFs.
  • •Deep knowledge of alternative asset classes such as Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, and Hybrid fund strategies.
  • •Strong understanding of Fund Accounting operations, including NAV production, valuation oversight, pricing controls, liquidity management, and financial reporting.
  • •Proven track record leading geographically dispersed teams and delivering transformation and operating model improvements.
