Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and activate electrical and control systems used to build and launch Starship.
  • •Execute integration and activation testing of new equipment and provide hands-on troubleshooting for ground support tooling.
  • •Manage electrical cabinet builds, including field wiring, pneumatic and fluid plumbing.
  • •Author procedures to quickly and reliably build and commission control systems, including robust PLC code for manufacturing applications.
  • •Lay out NFPA79/NEC/UL508A-compliant industrial electrical control panels and create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years of experience in a controls technician, controls specialist, or engineering role.
  • •Experience authoring detailed manufacturing planning work orders in strict compliance with guidelines and procedures.
  • •Knowledge of electrical safety and codes including NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, and UL508A.
  • •PLC programming experience, preferably Siemens TIA Portal.
