Key Responsibilities

  • •Challenge the effectiveness of the risk, governance, and control environment through change internal audit work.
  • •Execute audits end to end to agreed timelines across a portfolio of audits and ad-hoc projects.
  • •Identify risks and root-cause themes across complex business areas and articulate high-level control opinions to senior management.
  • •Manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation.
  • •Apply independent audit judgement in a fast-moving, complex, and changing environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant professional qualification and change/project credentials (e.g., Prince2, PMP, MSP or equivalent) preferred.
  • •Previous Internal Audit, External Audit, or Risk Assurance experience required, ideally within Financial Services.
  • •Experience managing or providing assurance over organisational project and transformation activities is desirable.
  • •Good breadth of knowledge across project/transformation risk and control frameworks.
  • •Strong communication skills to influence debates with executive and senior management, including governance and board committees.
