Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide proactive strategic leadership for the engineering discipline and function to ensure project deliverables meet codes and regulations.
  • •Lead high-level professional engineering for complex wastewater projects within the California District.
  • •Serve as the technical SME in water/wastewater applications guiding design approaches for conveyance, treatment, and pump stations.
  • •Coordinate and approve infrastructure design plans, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • •Mentor staff, oversee performance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver future-ready solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Wastewater or closely related discipline.
  • •12+ years of relevant post-education experience in water resources engineering.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Proficient knowledge of water/wastewater engineering principles, models, and technologies.
  • •Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with ability to guide mid-level to senior staff and ensure QA/QC.
