  • •Support machine safety efforts for manufacturing and process equipment at the Solid Rocket Motor production facility in McHenry, MS.
  • •Serve as a safety resource during design, commissioning, and validation of automated or semi-automated production equipment.
  • •Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessments and support safety buyoff for equipment including conveyance, robotics, process equipment, and lifting systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Robotics/Controls, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar.
  • •2+ years of machine safety experience in a production environment.
  • •Working knowledge of selection, integration, and validation of safety hardware.
  • •Familiar with machine safety standards such as ISO 12100, ISO 13849, and ANSI B11.
  • •Familiar with CAD packages including NX, Solidworks, or AutoCAD; must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export-controlled information or facilities.
